African Overland Tour

On this African overland tour we depart Johannesburg and make our way north where we cross intoBotswana. We drive along the edge of the Kalahari Desert and theMakgadikgadi Salt Pans before we board a Makoro for a trip into theOkavango Delta. Chobe National Park is our last stop in Botswana, where you have the chance to spot lion, elephant and buffalo on an early morning game drive and boat cruise. Crossing into Zambia, we stop inLivingstone where you can view the mighty Victoria Falls. Here you have numerous options available that will get the blood pumping! We make our way north to Lake Karibia, where we board a houseboat for some relaxation time. The Great North Road takes us to Kapishya Hot Springs before continuing into Tanzania. We drive through Baobab Valley andMikumi National Park, before we arrive at the coastal capital of Dar es Salaam where we board the ferry for Zanzibar. Spend time exploringStone Town, relaxing on the beaches or enjoying some of the activities available. The famous Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater are your last chance to spot the Big Five before we cross into Kenya where this tour finishes in Nairobi.
