On this 53 day South American Overland tour, you will discover ancient empires, amazing wildlife and spectacular scenery. After visiting the Amazon Jungle, we head south through Banos and Cuenca to cross into Peru. Chan Chan ruins, Lima, Ballestas Islands, Nazca and Colca Canyon are all on the list before you trek to the legendary citadel of Machu Picchu. We visit Lake Titicaca before crossing into Bolivia and stopping in La Paz. Potosi, Uyuni and the Altiplano follow. Then to Salta and Argentina, the Valley of the Moon and Mendoza - the perfect place to relax and enjoy some wine tasting. Crossing into Chile, we follow the coast and join back with the Pan American Highway which takes us to Santiago, where this tour ends.
