We spend the first day of this Over 40's African Safari Tour in and around Nairobi. Leaving Nairobi we head north to Sweetwaters Game Reserve where we do our first game drive of the tour followed by Lake Nakuru National Park, a soda lake covered with thousands of Pink Flamingos. We stop at Lake Naivasha where we visit Elsamere the home of the late Joy Adamson. The Masai Mara National Reserve is our next destination where we will spend two days game driving. Passing back through Nairobi we head to Tanzania and the Ngorongoro Crater where we descend to the crater floor in 4 wheel drives and spend the day viewing the high concentration of wildlife. Next stop Arusha then Dar es Salaam. This is our departure point forZanzibar where we travel by ferry and spend 4 days on the island. The first day will be spent in Stone Town where you can take time to explore the narrow streets and markets. Nungwe Village at the north end of the island is where we spend a couple of days relaxing on the beach snorkeling over the coral reefs and eating some great seafood. From here we head back to Stone Town and the ferry which will take us back to Dar es Salaam where the tour finishes.

Camping & accommodation whilst on Safari, all meals whilst on Safari (unless otherwise stated in itinerary), services of experienced driver/guide plus camp/cook assistant, fully equipped safari vehicle with camping / cooking equipment and sleeping mattresses, all road tolls, vehicle taxes, National Park entry fee.
