Vehicles and group size
We utilize a custom built Overland vehicle which
seats a maximum of 18 passengers. The truck is a hard top with fitted windows and both forward and inward facing seats. Other forms of transport used will be 4 wheel drives for Game viewing and ferry to Zanzibar
Accommodation
We
stay in a variety of accommodations - all either superior or luxury with private facilities. The 'camp sites' are permanent luxury tented camps full facilities. The hotels are chosen for their location, and friendliness.
Meals
Meals are included as per itineray.
Spending Money and currency
Each country has its own
currency as follows: South African Rand, Botswana: Pula, Zambia: Zambian Kwacha.
Money can be changed onto local currency once we arrive in Zambia and Botswana. Please note that Kwacha and Pula cannot be changed into other currencies outside of the country, so do not leave the country with any local currency. Your guide will assist you in calculating the correct amount to change. Credit cards are generally accepted but travellers’ cheques are not. Outside South Africa ATM machines are difficult to find so please ensure you arrange your spending money prior to departure. It is important that you have spending money in cash in either South African Rand or USD preferably in small denomination notes. Please also note that it is advisable to only take USD printed after 1995 (i.e. big face with watermark & magnetic strip), as money of the countries visited will not take any notes that are from before 1995 due to the high incidences of fraud.

Arrival transfers can be arranged for USD25.00 per person. This is payable to your diver direct.

The law requires you to carry identification at all times and you may be asked to produce your documents at any time. Rather than carry original documents, make a copy of your passport and other important documents.
South Africa
Visitors
entering South Africa
are required to have a minimum of two blank pages in their passports to enable
the entry visa to be issued. If there is
insufficient space in the passport entry will be denied and the person is
likely to be detained pending return to their country of origin.
Botswana
At
the time of printing the following countries DO NOT REQUIRE visas:
Nationals
of all commonwealth countries (except Ghana, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, India,
Pakistan and Bangladesh), Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany,
Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Namibia,
Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Samoa (Western), San Marino, Spain, Sweden,
Switzerland, Uruguay, USA and Yugoslavia. Please
note that should you require a visa that it must be obtained prior to
departure.
Zambia
You can obtain the visa at the border. Visa waivers are no longer available. Price
of visas is $50 for single and $80 for double.They can be obtained at the
border or airport.
