Nairobi, the Kenyan Capital, is the starting point of this exceptional Over 40's African tour. You will travel through the Rift Valley, the Masai Mara National Reserve, Lake Naivash and Lake Nakuru. You cross into Uganda and and visit both Sipi Falls and the Source of the Nile. Travel via Kampala to the Kibale Forest and Queen Elizabeth National Park. Spot Hippo on the Kasinga Channel and relax at Lake Bunyoni. Rwanda, home of the Mountain Gorillas is next. With the help of Local Guides you make your way through the dense tropical rain forest to see these magnificent creatures. From Kigali, you will take your flight back to Nairobi.

GORILLA TREKKING:
A good level of fitness is required. You need to be sure-footed and be able to walk on rough terrain for up to 4 hours. The treks start at around 2000 metres above sea-level and can go up over 3000 metres so the affects of the high altitude often slows trekkers up. The trek will go at the pace of the slowest walker, stop for regular breathers, and at no time will you be made to rush. Walking sticks are provided. If you would like a porter to carry your day-pack, this is possible for a fee of approx US$10.
