It is here you will be introduced to your coach style overland vehicle. From Siliguri, travel to Gangtok and take in a side trip to Tsomgo Lake (only a whisker from the Tibetan border). Travel to Darjeeling and stay at the very Colonial Windamere Hotel which dates back to the times of the British Raj. Explore a tea plantation near Kurseong where you get to enjoy the warm hospitality of an Indian family home stay. Enter Nepal and roam around Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve. Enjoy game viewing in Chitwan National Park; search for the ever-elusive tiger atop an Asian elephant and enjoy a canoe ride on the Rapti River. Finish your trip in Kathmandu; a vibrant metropolis with nearly two thousand years of history, ancient architecture and strong Buddhist and Hindu influences.
