Gorillas & Game

Departing Nairobi our first stop is Nakuru National Park (which is reknowned for its white rhino, leopard and pink flamingo) on our way into the highlands for a memorable encounter with the Mountain Gorillas. We then make our way to Jinja and the source of the Nile, is next with an option to take in some white water rafting and the Soft Power Educational Project. Back into Kenya we stop at Kembu Farm and Lake Naivasha before spending our last two nights in the fabulous Masai Mara Game Reserve. We spend time game driving around this national park in search of the big five - Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Elephant and Rhino. Travelling over the amazing Great Rift Valley, our tour ends in Nairobi.

Gorilla Permits:

You see the Gorillas in Uganda, Rwanda or DR Congo. The Gorilla permits are payable on the spot and can only be paid in US dollars cash. The cost of the permit is approx $500 payable to the Park authorities. There is also a small charge to get up to the Gorilla viewing area. The price of the Gorilla permits can change without notice. Seeing the Gorillas may involve you having to get extra visas on the borders; this changes with each trip and with the country you see them.
